How I started with project management

When I was 19 years old, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Emobile Corp as a Content Department Manager. During my time with the company, I was tasked with many challenges and projects, such as launching services and products in 70 countries around the world.

It was an exciting and challenging experience that taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving; while introduced me to project management.

Being in charge of a Department and having project management responsibilities at such a young age was a daunting prospect, but I was determined to rise to the challenge.

I quickly learned the importance of effective communication and collaboration, both within my team and with external stakeholders. I also developed a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset that helped me to identify potential issues and plan for contingencies.

Throughout the many projects I’ve managed, I worked closely with a team of talented individuals, each with their own unique skills and perspectives.

It was inspiring to see how everyone came together to work towards a common goal, despite the challenges we faced along the way.

Looking back, I realize how fortunate I was to have had this experience at such a young age. It taught me so much about myself and what I was capable of achieving. It also gave me a deep appreciation for the power of teamwork and the importance of setting ambitious goals and working tirelessly to achieve them.

Being a project manager is not always easy, but it is undoubtedly one of the most rewarding roles in any organization.

Whether you’re launching products in 70 countries or overseeing a smaller-scale project, the skills and experiences gained from this role will stay with you for a lifetime.
